"Despite government announcements and quickly-passed recent legislation, no one is quite sure what to expect," writes Jonathan Liebman, chairman/CEO of Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts in Southfield, MI, in The Greentree Gazette. "Sarah Flanagan, vice president of government relations for the National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities (NAICU), says 'We don't know if we're over the hump, or if this is going to be a crisis.' Reactions from college officials range from 'Don't panic; everything will be fine' to 'The sky is falling!' Many are simply holding their breath. Others are doing their best to confront the situation in a proactive manner."
